Frequently Asked Questions
How do I sync my data across devices?
Make sure you're signed into iCloud on all your devices and have given Fida permission to use iCloud. Go to Settings → [Your Name] → iCloud and ensure Fida is enabled. Your data will automatically sync across all devices using the same iCloud account.
How does bill splitting work?
When creating a transaction, you can split the bill with others by selecting people from your contacts or creating new ones. Specify how much each person owes. Note: Fida helps you track who owes what, but doesn't handle actual payments. You'll need to request money through your preferred payment app and mark transactions as "Requested" or "Paid" manually.
How is the remaining split amount distributed?
When splitting a transaction, if you don't specify exact amounts for everyone, the remaining balance is automatically distributed equally among people who haven't had their amounts manually set. For example, if you split a $100 bill between 4 people and set one person to pay $40, the remaining $60 is split equally ($20 each) among the other 3 people.
Why do my transaction cards have different colors?
Transaction card backgrounds use gradient colors based on the tags you've assigned. Income and transfer transactions display a green and orange gradient. This visual system helps you quickly identify different types of transactions at a glance.
Can I schedule future transactions?Coming Soon
You can create future-dated transactions, but they won't be visible in your transaction list until that date arrives. Full scheduling features with recurring transactions will be added in a future update.
Is my financial data secure?
Absolutely. All your data is stored either locally on your device or in your private iCloud account. We have zero access to your financial information, transactions, or personal data. Learn more in our
Privacy Policy.
How do I delete a transaction or contact?
Swipe left on any transaction or contact in the list view to reveal the delete option. You can also edit transactions by tapping on them to modify details, amounts, or splits.
Why isn't Fida available on my Mac?
Fida is currently iOS-only (iPhone and iPad). We're focused on perfecting the mobile experience first. Mac support may be considered in the future based on user demand.
How much does Fida cost?
Fida is completely free with no ads, subscriptions, or in-app purchases. We believe personal finance tools should be accessible to everyone.
